ASTM A537 is a steel possessing superior mechanical properties, which is used in service at moderate to high temperatures. The steel comes in three classes (Class 1, 2, and 3) but varies according to tensile strength. Composition is of carbon (C), manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), phosphorus (P), and sulfur (S), making it possess high tensile and resistant properties. Properties of mechanics have tensile strength ranging from 485-620 MPa for Class 1 and a yield strength of 345 MPa.
