Carbon Steel F52 Forged Fittings are made of a low-alloy steel with a specific percentage of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, and small amounts of other elements. The typical composition is approximately 0.22% carbon, 1.60% manganese, and 0.30% silicon, offering a compromise between strength and ductility. These fittings have good mechanical properties with tensile strength of 560 MPa (min), yield strength of 355 MPa (min), and elongation of 22% (min) in 50 mm. These properties in combination provide great performance and reliability under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
