Carbon Steel F65 Forged Fittings are manufactured from a high-strength alloy of carbon steel, providing high wear and corrosion resistance. The general composition is carbon (0.60-0.70%), manganese (0.90-1.20%), phosphorus (max 0.035%), sulfur (max 0.035%), and silicon (0.15-0.40%), with the balance being iron. The fittings exhibit excellent mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of at least 650 MPa (95,000 psi) and a yield strength of at least 450 MPa (65,000 psi). They also exhibit good toughness and ductility and can be used in high-temperature, high-pressure industry applications like in the oil and gas industry.
